To become an educator or school administrator in Massachusetts you must attain a license approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). CES currently offers a wide variety of Initial Licensure programs in the following areas:

School Administrator
- Principal/Assistant Principal (PreK-6, 5-8 and 9-12)

CES Licensure Programs consist of six courses. Each licensure program includes a Practicum, which offers a rigorous supervised experience in your field, as well as an opportunity to demonstrate mastery of Professional Standards required by the DESE.
