Graduate Credit

Graduate Credit

Through our partnership with Fitchburg State University, Collaborative licensure students can earn credits toward a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Teaching or, for those who already have a Master’s Degree, an individualized Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS).

Candidates seeking an M.Ed. – Curriculum and Teaching complete the requirements for graduation by following a prescribed Plan of Study for an additional eighteen course credits, which includes a three-credit course intended to accompany the Practicum. The courses in the Plan of Study are specific to the area of licensure sought. Learn more the Master’s Degree option, or about the steps and requirements for earning the CAGS.

Graduate Credit for Individual Courses

Graduate credit is available to students taking any Collaborative Licensure course in all of our locations throughout the state for an additional fee. Graduate credit registration and payment occurs at the first session of every course.

Professional Development Points (PDPs)

You can also take Collaborative Licensure courses for Professional Development Points (PDPs). PDPs are earned by completing professional development, and are the currency for renewing a Professional license. PDPs are awarded through the Collaborative for Educational Services Professional Development Department. For more information about graduate credit and PDPs, please contact:
